Strength and Mobility

Improving functional strength and mobility are the primary focuses of this class. Sessions are comprised of exercises using kettlebells, resistance bands, kinetic elastic bands (Inertia Wave), and other tools to help create mentally engaging and unique ways to exercise the entire body.

Programs carefully crafted by our head coach and cycle monthly. All participants are guided to ensure proper technique and injury-free progression.

Boxing Basics and Drills

Learn the basics of boxing with our head coach. Participants will learn the foundational strikes of boxing, footwork patterns, and how to drill each technique to perfection. Classes will involve cardiovascular work, partner drills, and combinations on the heavy bag.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing is a striking martial art that utilizes hands, feet, elbows, and knees. Muay Thai classes begin with cardiovascular exercises, followed by partner pad work where participants practice a variety of striking combinations. No experience is necessary - our head coach will guide newcomers to the sport to make sure they employ the proper technique and body mechanics.

Kettlebell Strength

Kettlebells are an incredibly versatile strength building tool that we love here at Queens Training Club. Come to our Kettlebell Strength classes to learn the fundamental techniques of kettlebell lifting and swinging to develop explosive and static strength. Each session will start with overview of technique, a warm up, and then move on to carefully programmed group training. Some experience is required.

Jiu Jitsu / Submission Grappling

Jiu jitsu is a popular submission grappling martial art where participants use close range joint and body manipulation techniques to force an opponent to submit. Our program is taught by Jobany Rosario, a seasoned competitor, teacher, and brown belt under Murilo Santana / Unity.
